Ashwini Singh is a multidisciplinary author and academic whose written works have been published in The Star, The Witness, and the Cape Argus (among others). Having spent 15 years in the United Arab Emirates, Ashwini graduated from the American Community School of Abu Dhabi before returning to South Africa to pursue higher studies. At present, she holds: an LL.M. in Medical Law; a Postgraduate Diploma in Forensic Investigation & Criminal Justice and; a B.A. in Communication Science. Ashwini is an ad hoc lecturer in law and further serves as an affiliate of the ACFE^® South Africa, while also an associate of the Professional Editors’ Guild. Alongside academia, she enjoys volunteerism as well as training in Goju-Ryu karate as a budding martial artist.
